Last updated: 15 October 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of https://candle-supplies.com (the "Site"). The Site is operated by X Enterprises, LLC, 18122 3rd Dr SE, Bothell, WA 98012 ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
What the Site is, and what it is not
The Site publishes general information about candle making supplies and candle fire safety: waxes, wicks, fragrance oils, essential oils, flash point, IFRA Standards, dyes and pigments, jars and containers, molds, heating wax, soot, tunneling, and candle warning labels. We are not a retailer, a brand, a maker, a testing laboratory, a government agency, a fire safety authority, or a lawyer. We do not sell candles or supplies. The Site does not give recipes, pour or melt temperatures, fragrance amounts, or step-by-step candle making or burning instructions.
Important candle and fire safety notice
Candles are an open flame, and heated wax, fragrance oils, and other candle materials can burn, ignite, or cause injury. Candle fires can cause serious injury, death, and property damage. You are responsible for how you make, heat, burn, store, and put out candles and candle materials, for following the maker's instructions and Safety Data Sheet for every material you use, and for keeping flames and hot wax away from children, pets, and anything that can burn. If you are not sure something can be done safely, do not do it. In an emergency, call 911.
General information only; no professional, legal, or safety advice
Content on the Site is for general information. It is not legal, regulatory, medical, chemical, fire safety, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for the maker's instructions, the Safety Data Sheet, your local fire department, or a qualified professional. We do not say that any wax, wick, fragrance, colorant, container, mold, or candle is safe, non-toxic, or compliant, and nothing on the Site is a safety inspection or test.
Heating wax and wax fires
The Site does not give melting, heating, or pouring steps or temperatures. Where the Site describes fire safety advice from the U.S. Fire Administration or NFPA, that advice is general, and some of it is written for cooking; we apply it to wax heated on a stove for general information only. Never leave heating wax unattended, never use water on a wax fire, and follow the maker's instructions for your wax and equipment. If a fire does not go out, get out and call 911.
Safety Data Sheets and makers' instructions
Waxes, wicks, fragrance oils, essential oils, dyes, pigments, containers, molds, and equipment are made and sold by third parties under their own terms. Their instructions, warnings, Safety Data Sheets, and labels control over anything on the Site. We have not tested any product. We are not responsible for any third party's products, instructions, or Safety Data Sheets.
Fragrance, colorants, and health
The Site makes no health claims for or against any wax, fragrance, essential oil, or colorant. Where the Site describes the IFRA Standards, it does so for general information only; IFRA Standards cover fragrance ingredients and are not an approval of any product. For questions about health or exposure, read the Safety Data Sheet and ask a doctor or poison control. In an emergency, call 911.
Federal rules, standards, and labels
Where the Site describes the CPSC rule on lead in metal-cored wicks, cautionary labeling, or the ASTM candle standards, it does so as the CPSC, the Federal Register, or the National Candle Association states them, for general information only. The Site does not reprint ASTM standards and does not tell you what the law requires for any candle or business. Rules change, and other federal, state, local, and foreign laws may apply. If you make, import, or sell candles, read the current rules and get advice from a qualified professional about your situation.
Agencies, organizations, and sources
Government agencies, fire safety organizations, and industry groups named on the Site, including the National Candle Association and IFRA, are credited for their own guidance and definitions. They do not endorse the Site, and the Site's mention of an industry group is not a statement that any product is approved, certified, compliant, or safe.
Brand names and trademarks
Brand, product, program, and organization names mentioned on the Site belong to their owners. We use them only to credit their own guidance. The Site is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any brand or organization it mentions.
Affiliate links
Some links may be affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. Any purchase is between you and the retailer, under the retailer's terms. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Eligibility
The Site is for a general audience. It is not directed to children under 13.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Site in violation of any law;
- copy, scrape, or republish Site content in bulk without our written permission;

Intellectual property
Site content, design, and text are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may view and share links to the Site for personal, non-commercial use. Third-party names and trademarks are covered under "Brand names and trademarks" above.
Third-party websites
Links to retailers, makers, government agencies, fire safety organizations, industry groups, and other websites are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, products, prices, or policies.
Disclaimer of warranties
THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, ANY PURCHASE FROM A THIRD PARTY, OR ANY CANDLE MAKING OR BURNING, OR USE OF ANY WAX, WICK, FRAGRANCE, COLORANT, CONTAINER, MOLD, OR EQUIPMENT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100). NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE LIMITED.
Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
Dispute resolution; binding arbitration; class-action waiver
Please read this section carefully. Except for small-claims matters and claims for injunctive relief over intellectual property, any dispute about these Terms or the Site will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The seat of arbitration will be King County, Washington, unless you and we agree otherwise. You and we waive any right to a jury trial and to take part in a class, consolidated, or representative action. If the class-action waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim must proceed in court and not in arbitration.
Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to the arbitration section, exclusive venue for permitted court actions is the state or federal courts in King County, Washington, and you consent to jurisdiction there.
Assignment and change of operator
We may assign or transfer these Terms, and the Site, to a successor operator, including as part of a sale of the Site, without notice to you. After that, the successor operator takes our place under these Terms and may post its own terms. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent.
Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after that date means you accept the revised Terms.
Miscellaneous
These Terms, with the Privacy Policy and Affiliate Disclosure, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
